GoldArc Resources Ltd (ASX:GA8) Completes 15km Leonora South Drilling Campaign, Assay Results Pending
21 April 2026
Price Sensitive Announcement $
Highlights:
- GoldArc and development partner, Mineral Mining Services Pty Ltd (MMS), have completed an RC drill program across Eclipse, Orion and Sapphire under its development program.
- The program, comprising 5,734m for 85 holes, is 100% funded by MMS and was designed to advance both resource definition and new discovery simultaneously.
- Development Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling at Eclipse is designed to infill and extend the high-grade mineralisation previously reported (including 14m @ 7.49 g/t Au from 12m), with results expected to support the advancement towards a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate.
- Advanced RC program completed at the Cosmopolitan deposit, along with the Whistler and Woodpecker prospects including follow-up to the standout 1m @ 25.21 g/t Au1 Woodpecker result. The program consisted of 3,186m across 32 holes.
- Additionally, a 6,340m (152 holes) greenfields aircore (AC) program now completed testing multiple targets along favourable structural trends, including newly identified
mineralised zones at Whistler. - All assay results across the three programs are expected by the end of May 2026.
The Company will update the market progressively as results are received, creating a strong multi-front news flow period.
GoldArc Resources Limited (ASX:GA8) has successfully completion of its multi-program drilling campaign at the Company’s Leonora South Gold Project, located in the Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia.
The completion of 269 drillholes for 15,260m marks the largest combined drilling effort GoldArc has undertaken at Leonora South. The campaign advanced both pillars of GoldArc’s dual-track strategy in a single coordinated effort comprising the partner funded development drilling at Eclipse, Orion and Sapphire to support resource definition and future mine planning, and aggressive RC and greenfields AC drilling to test new discovery targets across
the broader Kookynie district.
Three-Track Program Advances Discovery and Development Simultaneously
The Leonora South campaign comprised three distinct but complementary drilling programs, each serving a different stage of the discovery-to-development pipeline. Together, they represent a coordinated effort to deliver value across the project area.
MMS Development RC Program – Eclipse, Orion, Sapphire (5,734m / 85 holes)
Mineral Mining Services Pty Ltd (MMS), GoldArc’s Leonora South development partner, completed its 5,734m RC program across the Eclipse, Orion and Sapphire deposits. The program was designed to infill and extend known mineralisation, providing improved
geological confidence to support future mine planning. This work is 100% funded by MMS, providing a structural advantage for GA8 shareholders by eliminating the traditional exploration capital burden at the development stage.
GoldArc Advanced RC Program – Cosmopolitan, Whistler Woodpecker (3,186m / 32 holes)
GoldArc’s 3,186m advanced RC program targeted extensions to known mineralisation at the Cosmopolitan deposit and step-out drilling at the Whistler and Woodpecker prospects.
Woodpecker remains a high-priority target following the previously reported aircore result of 1m @ 25.21 g/t Au, a standout intercept in a corridor that has seen limited systematic drilling to date.
GoldArc Greenfields Aircore Program – Whistler, Cosmopolitan South, Altona South (6,340m / 152 holes)
GoldArc’s 6,340m aircore drilling program significantly expanded geological coverage across highly prospective greenfields areas, systematically testing multiple drill-ready targets along favourable structural trends. Programs at Whistler, Cosmopolitan South and Altona South
were designed to define the extent of mineralised systems across the Kookynie district and identify advanced targets.
Company Notes:
GoldArc Managing Director, Paul Stephen commented:
“Completing these drilling programs at Leonora South is an important milestone for GoldArc. The scale of drilling completed across development, advanced RC and greenfields aircore
programs provides us with a substantial dataset to further refine our understanding of the project area. We now look forward to receiving the outstanding assay results, which will guide our next phase of exploration and development and help prioritise follow‑up drilling across the Leonora South Project.”
